▾ About NEON ROMAN (霓虹浪漫ネオンロマン)

NEON ROMAN is an artistic endeavor that fuses traditional neon craftsmanship with contemporary expression, redefining neon — once a symbol of urban bustle — as a medium for "emotion and romance." Held in March 2026 at SOMSOC GALLERY in Harajuku, the exhibition presents a new visual experience where technology and craftsmanship intersect.

In this exhibition, neon is treated as a device that resonates with the very nature of the space it inhabits. The flickering light of noble gases confined within glass boundaries is expanded into the artistic energy sparking within the gallery itself.

Through interactive mechanisms and innovative "neon frames," the exhibition breathes life into light, constructing a "respiration of space" that invites direct dialogue with the viewer.
