Digital Artist and VJ
Misola Nomura is a digital artist and VJ based in Tokyo and Kamakura. At age 15, she was strongly influenced by supporting the production of a NONOTAK installation, and began creating CG works in high school. Centered on creative coding, her audiovisual expression responds improvisationally to sound, space, and audience reactions, creating highly live experiences that can only emerge in that moment.
Her activities span a wide range of scenes, from club culture to immersive art events and installations, including MUTEK.JP, ZEROTOKYO, and BLUE NOTE PLACE. In 2025, in addition to a VJ performance at MUTEK.JP, she also created advertising visuals. She continues to expand expression beyond existing frameworks, including live direction for Young Juvenile Youth and Aoi Yamada, and countdown visuals for The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon. By combining technology and physicality, she continues to present immersive visual experiences across diverse fields.
