DZA is one of the pioneering artists in experimental hip-hop on the global scene.

He is known for a distinctive style that fuses experimental electronics, click and glitch sounds, and classic hip-hop incorporating scratch techniques.

Beyond music, he is also involved in the development of electronic instruments. As co-founder of Tokyo-based hardware maker Light Reft, he creates innovative devices for musicians.

Currently based in Japan, he continues live performances, releases, and the development of new instruments for live and studio use.
