Shop & Gallery Staff

Part-time position

SOMSOC GALLERY, 3-22-11 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo

Nearest stations: 7 minutes on foot from Meiji-jingumae Station / 7 minutes on foot from JR Harajuku Station

Work may occasionally take place outside the gallery, such as at art fairs or exhibitions at other galleries, about once every six months. Transportation costs and special allowances are provided.

Working hours: 11:30-20:30 (8 working hours, 60-minute break)

Two days off per week, based on shift schedule.

Customer service at the SOMSOC GALLERY shop and gallery

Explaining and selling artworks

Selling products and apparel

Taking photos and videos for social media, and posting content

Required skills: No academic background or prior experience required.

Preferred skills: Experience in customer service or hospitality, English, and social media communication.
