Inspired by the 2001 film “SCRATCH,” DJ MU began DJing seriously.

He has released the mix CDs “SUNSHINE JET” and “TAM DAO,” the mixtape “Armful of Flowers,” and “Current Vibes Vol.1” under the name NB&DJMU.

He DJed at the opening party for MASH JAPAN PREMIERE.

Currently, as a DJ unit with photographer Nobuhiko Tanabe a.k.a. NB and the music equipment shop Machi no Kizaiya MU, he hosts the event “MUSIC ON TAP” at Shibuya craft beer bar ØL Tokyo. He is also active as a mobile DJ at outdoor events across Japan.

He is Director of Echigoya Music, a long-established synthesizer and DJ shop in Shibuya.
