Manju (饅頭)

Visual Artist, Sculptor, and Toy Artist

Manju was born in China and holds a double degree from
the Department of Art & Design at South-Central Minzu University
and the Department of Japanese Language at
Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.


In 2014, Manju entered the Graduate Program in Architectural Design
at the University of Tsukuba as a research student.


Since 2015, Manju has been active as a designer.


In 2022, Manju launched the original sofubi character
“yummy yumm.”


Currently, Manju serves as the CEO of their own company,
working across multiple fields including art, design, and food,
and continues to expand their creative practice beyond conventional boundaries.
