HOUSEBOY Sofubi by SKULL CUBE - Gajira's Moving House One-Off
A sofubi figure of HOUSEBOY, the mascot character of SOMSOC GALLERY. This exhibition-exclusive one-off edition was painted in collaboration with SKULL CUBE.
In addition to the painted expression, a new sculpted donut UFO carrying Monster Drive gluttonous kaiju Gajira has been added in place of the brain. The front of the UFO features the trademark of Dian, who designed HOUSEBOY.
One-off Story
A robot house made by Monster Drive gluttonous kaiju Gajira through DIY. Gajira pilots it by docking with the donut UFO. Because it was large and difficult to paint, it was left as bare iron and ended up rusting. Since Gajira loves food and vehicles, only the donut UFO is always kept shiny. Because of its strange appearance, rumors say that anyone caught by that moving house will have their soul eaten.
HOUSEBOY
BOY is an unidentified artist with an exposed brain, while HOUSE is SOMSOC GALLERY itself, a super robot. The unidentified life-form created when they combine, HOUSEBOY, absorbs various emotional energies and uses them as its own power source. Today, it is still communicating with you from Ura-Harajuku.
