[Artwork Statement]
This character is a guardian of time who watches over a world where space-time has become unstable. Inspired by Jamiroquai’s “Virtual Insanity,” I imagined a world in which the boundary between reality and the virtual becomes blurred. As technology and reality change at a rapid pace, I felt compelled to draw this character.

[SOMSOC ART SHOW 2026]
SOMSOC ART SHOW is an annual art event presented by SOMSOC GALLERY.
It creates new encounters and exchanges through art, offering a space where anyone can experience works freely and intuitively.

This year’s theme is “One Artist, One Character.”
Each artist condenses a character representing their current practice and world into a single A4-sized work.
Whether a figure, abstract symbol, or embodiment of spirit, each character is a small universe reflecting the artist’s aesthetics and ideas.
Diverse expressions converge in Harajuku, where distinct worlds intersect.
