[Artwork Statement]
A presence that does nothing in particular, yet is there, watching intently. Depending on the viewer’s sensibility, she may seem condemning or saving. You cannot tell what she is thinking, but perhaps that unknowability—and her cuteness—is what makes her interesting.

[SOMSOC ART SHOW 2026]
SOMSOC ART SHOW is an annual art event presented by SOMSOC GALLERY.
It creates new encounters and exchanges through art, offering a space where anyone can experience works freely and intuitively.

This year’s theme is “One Artist, One Character.”
Each artist condenses a character representing their current practice and world into a single A4-sized work.
Whether a figure, abstract symbol, or embodiment of spirit, each character is a small universe reflecting the artist’s aesthetics and ideas.
Diverse expressions converge in Harajuku, where distinct worlds intersect.
