Born in China, SusanLink came to Japan out of admiration for YMO and is now based in Tokyo.

After graduating from Kyoto University of the Arts, she worked in graphic design and illustration. Alongside art and design, she also works as a model and is a vintage enthusiast; her modes of expression are wide-ranging.
