SOMA Collective

Visual Artist and Photographer

A digital artist collective formed by five French artists: POLYGON1993, Lighton, Lukas, Louis Dazy, and Oelhan. Aiming to expand the scope of contemporary art, the collective produces innovative works through experimental and unconventional approaches that challenge existing frameworks.

POLYGON1993

A renowned visual artist who uniquely fuses imperfection with analog technology, building a bridge between the past and the future. Using vintage video equipment from the 1980s and 1990s, he creates portraits featuring glitch effects—noisy CRT screen distortions—developing his own distinctive style of “glitch art” that blends nostalgia with innovation. His work has attracted attention from numerous high-profile clients and audiences worldwide.

Louis Dazy

Born in Paris, Louis Dazy is a conceptual photographer and visual artist. His cinematic works are characterized by skillful combinations of portraiture, street photography, and the manipulation of light. Through techniques such as double exposure and digital collage, he creates images imbued with a sense of nostalgia and melancholy. By fusing different eras and cultures, he constructs visually compelling and thought-provoking monologues—intimate narratives told through imagery.

Oelhan

A Paris-based animation artist. By skillfully combining 3D elements with striking visual expression, Oelhan explores the complexity of human emotions—particularly the interaction between conflicting and suppressed feelings. His works have been featured in prestigious animation exhibitions and art festivals. Recently, he has translated his animation concepts into physical forms, captivating clients such as Apple, Adobe, and Spotify.

Lukas

Born in Côte d’Ivoire and raised in Indonesia and France, Lukas discovered his passion for painting and music during a school trip. A synesthete who perceives color through sound, he manipulates color as if it were his own language, externalizing time, perception, and imagination through the body. His works have been exhibited internationally, and in 2021 he joined the roster of artists on SuperRare.com. He is currently planning new projects and collaborations in Paris and Japan.
