Takeharu Miyazaki is a co-founder, manager, and executive of SOMSOC GALLERY.

Born in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, he graduated from Waseda University’s School of Letters, Arts and Sciences I, where he majored in Chinese Language and Literature.

Drawing on his deep knowledge and experience of Chinese culture, he has been active in a wide range of fields in China, including writing magazine columns, producing video works and short films, and appearing as on-screen talent.

He also launched an information website for Japanese residents in Shanghai, and later founded a metaverse development company in Hangzhou.

He has also been active as an influencer in China, with more than 620,000 followers across social media platforms.

He is currently involved in nurturing artists, planning art projects, and promoting cultural exchange centered on East Asia through SOMSOC GALLERY.
