Born in 1990 in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China.


By fusing Eastern religious philosophy with cyber technology, Dabeiyuzhou has constructed a distinctive artistic universe that stands out within the field of Chinese avant-garde art. He is widely regarded as a representative figure of China’s new generation of emerging artists.


He gained widespread recognition through the Future Buddha series, and has since developed major projects such as Text DNA Project and Virtual Butterfly, forming a large-scale online community across China.


Dabeiyuzhou is one of the first digital artists to be introduced by major auction houses. His work A Poetic Beach was sold at Sotheby’s for USD 140,000, marking a milestone in the history of Chinese digital art.


In Shanghai, he exhibited 100 Future Buddha figures in an installation that merged contemporary music with Buddhist concepts, creating a significant cultural sensation.


Using a self-developed generative adversarial network, he spent two years producing one million Virtual Butterflies. The project was unveiled at Aiiiii Art Center, the world’s first museum dedicated exclusively to AI art, and attracted widespread attention.
