Cesc Grané is a 3D character designer and illustrator born in Barcelona, Spain.


His work is defined by a gentle and imaginative universe, blending fantasy with emotional warmth. Having lived across Europe and the Middle East, his multicultural experiences deeply inform his distinctive approach to character design.


Since beginning his freelance career in 2007, Grané has worked between Barcelona and Qatar, before relocating his base to Tokyo in 2018. Today, he is active across Asia—including Japan and China—as well as Europe and the Middle East, creating works for animation, games, digital rendering, comics, mascots, and art exhibitions.


Over the past decade, he has presented solo exhibitions and participated in shows in cities such as Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Miami, Berlin, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo, earning a strong following among younger audiences worldwide.
