Painter
Born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1995. After being deeply moved by the exhibition "For the Placard," which she happened to see in Osaka in 2025, she began pursuing her work as a painter in earnest.
Since adolescence, she has expressed the many emotions that arise from her surroundings, particularly those connected to family, through drawing. She now creates acrylic paintings featuring cats and girls. The cats in her work symbolize anger, while the girls embody sadness and melancholy. Though she works with these emotions, her paintings do not lean into heaviness alone; she aims for warmth that can bring a smile through the cats' slightly comical presence and moments of gentle release.
She makes work from the "now" of each moment: the discomforts and feelings that arise in daily life, and the process of living with her own nature.
